Kildrought House, 4 Main Street, Celbridge, Co. Kildare, W23 N9P2.
A grand, mid-sized Georgian home, built in 1719 for Robert Baillie, a tapestry manufacturer who brought Flemish weavers across to Ireland. Later iterations of the building included a school, a hospital, vicarage and dispensary. Restored to its original form by the current owner, it now presents a wonderful opportunity to visit a lovely family home, with a beautiful terraced garden running down to the Liffey.
Do join us for Pimms, Strawberries and Cream, Wine and Cucumber Sandwiches. A fund-raising raffle will be held during the afternoon. Council would be delighted to receive prizes for the raffle. If you wish to donate a prize please get in touch with Anne Kearney Farrelly or any member of Council, or bring on the day.
Please book no later than Tuesday, June 16th.
Cost is €50 per person.
