Discover the rich history of Howth Castle with Daniel Eglington-Carey, a history graduate from Maynooth University and the current Historian in Residence and Caretaker of the castle.

A tour of the 800 year old castle with its fine interiors, from the medieval to Lutyens. Also an exhibition of Lutyens drawings and paintings of the ancient castles in County Dublin.

Please note that the building is accessible by stairs only and the tour includes steps throughout.

Getting there: The Green Line Dart From Greystones to Howth. Bus Number H3 from Middle Abbey Street. Stop at Howth Train Station. About 15 minutes walk from the train station. Plenty of parking at the castle for cars.

Cost is €25 per person.
