Mary Duncan was a painter and etcher, born in Bromley, Kent, where she attended the School of Art.
She later went to the Slade School of Fine Art and studied in Paris. She exhibited extensively at RHA, RA, NEAC, RSA, ROI and Goupil Gallery. Leamington Art Gallery and Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery among others hold her work.
She lived at Mousehole, Cornwall.
