George Holmes was an Irish landscape painter, draughtsman, and illustrator who studied at the Dublin Society’s Schools.
Known for watercolors and oil paintings of Irish scenes, he exhibited at the Royal Academy in London between 1799 and 1802. His work often featured topographical views and rural scenery.
